DescriptionDescription: Queen Louisa Ulrika cultivated her scientific interest by collecting books, coins, medals, art and specimens. A new royal library and museum room were built for her at Drottningholm Palace. Hårleman’s original proposal was modified by Jean Eric Rehn and the design was given the form that still remains, with Corinthian pilasters in white, contrasting frames and decorative gold cartouches.
