DescriptionDescription: The artist’s own thoughts, for the exhibition Expressions in Glass 2019 When I created this work, I was almost obsessed by deconstructing. Initially it had been a cylindrical vase that I opened out into a sheet. I wanted to put myself in a situation where craftsmanship, its history and cultural expression, can be taken apart – become fragments and parts that can acquire new significances.
