DescriptionDescription: Vicke Lindstrand designed Malmö ridå, the curtain for Malmö City Theatre. The vibrant motif depicts mythological, historical and contemporary dramatic art. Orpheus, god of music, plays the lyre and sings so beautifully that wild animals are tamed. A jazz band jams next to a flute-playing shepherd. The main stage curtain was red; the small stage curtain blue. At 8.5 x 32 metres, the former was the largest textile ever printed in Sweden.
