Yellowish varnish. According to the inscriptions, applied to the halos, which are drawn in perspective, the four saints are, from left: Simon the Stylite, Bishop Mitrofan of Voronezh and the martyrs, the Empress Alexandra and Valentina. Surrounded by radiance above, is the icon of the Mother of God of Kazan. Possibly a family icon. [slut]
