BeskrivningBeskrivning: Skålarna har tillverkats industriellt men kanten på varje skål är individuellt utformad, skapad av slumpen i produktionsprocessen. Margot Barolos utgångspunkt för projektet var frågorna: Hur påverkar etiketten ”MADE IN” följt av ett land vår uppfattning om ett föremål? Värderar vi dem olika beroende på var de tillverkats? Betyder det i så fall att också vi betraktar människor enligt olika skalor? Barolo menar att det inte finns några oskyldiga objekt, alla har vidrörts av människor och maskiner. De här skålarna har tillverkats i Tjeckien av producenten Brave Production. Beskrivning: The bowls have been industrially produced, but the edge of each one has been individually shaped, created by randomness in the production process. Margot Barolo’s starting point in this project comprised the questions: How does the “MADE IN” label, followed by a country, influence our perception of objects? Do we value them differently depending on where they were produced? If so, does this mean that we also regard people according to different scales? Barolo believes that there are no innocent objects, everything has been touched by people and machines. These bowls were produced in the Czech Republic by Brave Production.
