DescriptionDescription: The pattern shows an idyllic, sunny summer landscape with woods, lakes, plants and animals depicted in the playful manner and range of colours characteristic of 1970s printed fabric. Subjects were often shown two-dimensionally, without shadows or perspective. Aino Östergren and Vanja Djanaieff designed Sommarlivet for the NK Design Group, which used the pattern in table mats, trays, tins and paper bags.
