BiographyDomenico Grosso is documented as one of the
students of Onofrio Loth (1665–1715). Until 1988,
only one certain work by Grosso was known,
a still life of a cacciagione with fowl and a landscape,
signed “Do. Grosso” and shown in the
great still-life exhibition in Strasbourg in 1954.
