Wood: Linden (Tilia sp.), egg tempera.
Panel made of single board with two
splines inlaid from opposite sides (both
replaced); back painted brown.
PROVENANCE: Olof Aschberg;
Gift of O.Aschberg 1933
CONSERVATION: Restored prior to entering
NM: crack through the middle of the panel
repaired with new wood; retouches. Heavy
loss of paint layers along a crack in the
middle and on the edges; darkened, grimy
varnish.
