CONSERVATION: Restored prior to entering
NM: borders repainted; retouches and
insertions of ground in central part and
lower left corner; NM 1949: conservation
for blistering and flaking paint layers. Longitudinal
damage (15 cm approx.) to the left
of centre with losses of paint layers and
ground, where the panel has been exposed;
darkened varnish; panel warped.
This icon probably came from an Old
Believer workshop, and was possibly
painted on an old panel.
