    Panel made of two boards with two
    splines inlaid from opposite sides.

    CONSERVATION: Restored prior to entering
    NM: crack through the middle of the panel
    repaired; scattered retouches, cleaned; NM
    1959: laying down of blisters. Paint losses
    along the edges; yellowed varnish; panel
    warped.
    This type of standardised, simplified
    style is usually attributed to the iconpainting
    village of Kholui.1
