    new panel of single board with two
    splines inlaid across the panel.

    NM: genuine fragments inserted into new

    Gilding on frame abraded; varnish
    yellowed
    The decorative pattern of the inner
    frame, the lettering etc. suggest that
    this icon was renovated in an Old
    Be liever workshop during the late 19th
    or early 20th century, probably in
    Mstera.
