CONSERVATION: Restored prior to entering
NM; face, hands and feet repainted; re -
main ing parts repeatedly overpainted, following
original outline (see test cleaning on
central part of garment); darkened inpaint -
ings on hands; NM 1963: crack in joint
mended, silver gilt cleaned. Parts of silver
cover lost on boders.
