CONSERVATION: Restored prior to entering
NM; NM 1956: conservation for blistering.
Crack in joint, crack right through from
the lower edge upwards, to the right of
centre; abrasions, losses of paint layers and
old insertions all over the surface.
This icon was probably the central
panel in a Deesis tier of an iconostasis
or possibly in some other polyptich.
