Pen and brown ink, brown wash, 145 x 206 mm. There are stains of grey ink in the upper left corner, and the building in the centre seems to have been slightly retouched in the same ink. Laid down. Inscribed at the lower right, in pen and brown ink, Jan Hackert. In the upper right corner, a triangle in red ink (Karlberg) and, in pen and brown ink, numbered No. 6.

The manner is somewhat dry in comparison with other drawings by Hackaert, but there is a close similarity with a drawing of a Swiss landscape in the Fondazione Custodia in Paris. [Magnusson, Dutch Drawings no. 176]
