    As a Nordic artist in Paris, you had to use your limited time well. Most of the artists prioritised hard work rather than major exhibitions. Perhaps this is why relatively few such views from Paris have been preserved? That artists had neither the time nor money required to paint them? Hugo Birger painted a number of views from Montmartre, and the street is thought to be Boulevard de Clichy.
