After World War II, the interest in simpler and more natural materials increased. Ibe Dahlquist highlighted the beauty of fossils, which she picked on the beaches of Gotland. She had a smithy in Visby for many years, together with the silversmith Olov Barve. Dahlquist also designed intricate links for necklaces and bracelets for Georg Jensen. This necklace was displayed at Nationalmuseum’s exhibition Nutidsmycken in 1959.
