This cup is a showpiece with a wealth of details and materials. It took a long time to make, and many skilled artisans at the firm were involved. The first drawings are from 1897, and the finished cup was displayed at the 1900 World’s Fair in Paris. The artisans were inspired by Nautilus cups from the early 17th century.
