Ernst Rolf and Karl Gerhard competed with
each other for revue audiences in the 1920s,
but in 1928 they performed together in a
jubilee duet, in which they ironically praised
each other. The sketch was performed in
Rolf’s jubilee revue.
Artist Annie Bergman had a broad
repertoire. As well as painting landscapes
and figure motifs, often from Italy, she
created theatre caricatures. Bergman also
wrote children’s books.
