The table and chair here were part of an elegant ladies’ parlour in the Swedish exhibition at the 1925 World’s Fair in Paris. The room also had a matching reclining chair, a pedestal table with a gilded ornamental base, and a large round rug with a pattern of woven concentric circles. Its walls were hung with modern Swedish art and candleholders bearing crystal pendants. The cabinet was also featured.
