Margit Brundin has always been fascinated by animals. She believes that, whether tame or wild, they carry something mystical. She constructs short narratives about their thoughts and feelings. This is particularly visible in the eyes of the sculpted animal, where the artist wants the observer to maintain eye contact. The animals are not anatomically correct, with some body parts being shrunk or enlarged to make them more expressive.
